What’s even better than a whole day’s event dedicated to Windows Phone 7? Perhaps the chance to leave said event with one of your very own? Join the DeveloperDeveloperDeveloper Community gang on 7th October in Manchester and along with a day of  demo-rich presentations about developing Silverlight and XNA apps for Windows Phone, you’ll be able to enter a prize draw to win a Windows Phone to take home.

Well, there’ll be a keynote from a Microsoft UK speaker and you’ll also hear from MVPs from Appa Mundi and the .NET developer community, including some of the top-rated speakers from Tech Ed. As if that wasn’t enough, we’re also holding a XAPathon. If you’ve already been working with the Windows Phone 7 developer tools but haven’t been able to try them out on a real phone yet, compile them with the RTM dev tools and bring along your XAP - we’ll be providing some real phones you can play with.
