The WorldWide Telescope is an amazing project that aims to bring together terabytes of images and information from the world best ground and space based telescopes so that anyone with a web browser can explore the universe. When you couple this project with Kinect you can navigate the Galaxy just by moving your body; it’s a little like swimming through space.  We stopped off at the World Wide Telescopes booth at MIX 2011 to take a look for ourselves.
