Kicking off this Friday is our new series of Windows Azure Boot camps in Manchester (and next Friday in London). If you are the lucky ones (as the first two boot camps have already been fully registered) who have scored a seat, here is a quick preview of what is in store for you!

Registration kicks off at 9am so you can make your way to the venue as we will start promptly at 9:30am Steve Plank (our Developer Evangelist for Windows Azure) will be leading the boot camp and taking you through an introductory overview on Windows Azure. Through guided lab exercises, our aim is to get you up to speed with understanding Windows Azure by the end of the day. Steve Plank will go through labs covering Windows Azure Compute, Web, Worker & Storage, SQL Azure and App Fab. Of course, we will have snacks and drinks throughout the day to keep you energised.

Most importantly, you need to ensure that you have completed the pre-work to make the most of your time at the boot camp. Based on our previous experience, attendees will be able to maximize their learning experience if they have completed the pre-work (which includes installing the correct software and requesting their Azure pass). We will also have a cool prize or two up for grab at the bootcamp.

So, here is just a taste of what you’ll get at the upcoming Windows Azure Bootcamp as there will be plenty more on offer. If you have registered, make sure you arrive before 9:30am and if you haven’t registered for the camp, we will be announcing future camps around the country (including London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Liverpool).
