Nokia has announced two of the biggest Windows Phones yet, as well as a Windows RT 8.1 tablet. And finally, Windows Phone will get an official version of the photo sharing app Instagram.

Announced at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi were the Nokia 1520 and 1320. The 1520 has a 6-inch full HD 1080p screen and 20MP PureView camera, while the lower-cost 1320 has a 6-inch 720p screen and 5MP camera.

Both come with a new Windows Phone update, which has features taking advantage of the bigger screens, such as a larger Start screen for more Live Tiles. One of the eagerly awaited Windows Phone 8 apps to come is Instagram, expected in the coming weeks.

Developers now have a Windows Phone Preview Program to take advantage of, which means they now have early access to operating system updates so they can verify apps work as they should on new code.

And last but not least was the announcement of Nokia's first ever tablet - the Lumia 2520, running Windows 8.1 RT. It has a similar design on the outside to the Nokia Windows Phones, with a 10.1 inch 1080p display.

These are some very interesting devices from Nokia, showing that a lot of attention is being focused on Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 in terms of devices and apps, bringing a level of excitement that augurs well for the future.
