As some of you may know I had the privilege of spending some time with colleagues from around the world in Vedbaek last week. We were there to get prepared for several changes that we will be rolling out to you in the next few months.

My overall impression of the event is extremely positive and over the next few months we will be explaining some of the fantastic changes that are being put in place to help you win business with Dynamics NAV.

The first of these is already available – the new Statement of Direction (or “SOD” as we insist on calling it). Find it here: PartnerSource , read it (of course) and make sure that the rest of your organisation know what is coming in NAV7 – this affects sales, pre-sales, account management, implementation and development. Our roadmap has never been so clear and ,as such, we have a sales tool superior to any of our competitors.

Then there was a preview of NAV 7 itself. We are delivering on all our commitments to take our usability lead and drive it even further. Not least in the area of Sharepoint integration. But read on in the SOD and you will see an equal emphasis on enhanced functionality in a number of areas. Also, please take note of the news on C/Side and Forms.
