Cameron Skinner has blogged about an upcoming Feature Pack for the UML, DGML and Layer tools in Visual Studio 2010. Well worth a read, so I won’t go through it all but here are the key points I drew from this:

  • Available shortly after RTM
  • Visualisation support will broaden to support C++ and ASP .NET (including MVC) applications
  • T4 Code Generation from UML Class diagrams
  • Drag and drop from Architecture Explorer into the Model Elements
  • XMI Import
  • Extensibility in the Layer Diagram
