  • Great. Im really looking forward to try this!
  • Hi Unni,

I was looking at some opf the samples you've published here in the blog. However none of them have valid code. I get an "Invalid XAML code" when opening projects (I just downloaded and installed the March release). Being a visual designer I can't fix the code myself. Is there a way to quickly fix the problem and still try the examples?
  • Hi Gueorgi,

Many of the old examples have not been ported from the January CTP to the February CTP of WinFX. I will work on them shortly. The two widget examples however should work fine. Please build the project to see the artboard refresh and be enabled - the scenes have custom controls that will only work once the project is built.

    Thanks!
  • Also, if you are downloading samples, there is an issue where a security permission setting is set on images after unzipping. This causes the Image decoders from WPF to falter - the only option is to right click on the images, select Properties, and then choose "Unblock" at the bottom of the property page. This issue has been address since by the WPF team.
  • Is that a typo in line 33 of your Application.xaml.cs file?

Should it read "Scene1.xaml" instead of "Scene1.baml"?

In any event, when I changed it, it didn't seem to have any consequences...
  • When I compile the FreeCell example, I get the following invalid namespace: http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2005/06/markup-compatibility

Is there an easy fix for this?  (A new namespace I should be using?)
