Chris Kinsman, VP Development and software architect at Vertafore, explained to me why he chose to use SmartClient for the AMS360 application. Vertafore serves independent insurance agents in a Software + Services (S+S) delivery model, offering the software on the agency's premises and through a hosted environment. He shows how AMS360 provides a way to fill in all the information needed for business insurance policies. Chris, who is a Microsoft Regional Director, explains how he'll be using Windows Server 2008 Internet Information Services (IIS) 7 along with SQL Server 2008 Service Broker technologies to deploy his application across the server farm.
The program is available from Rocky Mountain Voices in a 10-minute podcast, Vertafore and Smart Client Deployment.
