  • Hi Sam,

I don't really recommend this blog as a way to get tech support for PHP. That said, I checked with the PHP on Windows team. They wrote me back saying

Looking at plain description in the warning, it seems the variable is being passed as “$variable_name” whereas it should be “&$variable_name”.

We do have a forum to help with PHP on Windows. Check out http://forums.iis.net/1104.aspx

    Hope this helps.
