Since I wrote the posting Visual Studio 2010 Beta 1 Ships This Week, I’ve found some another great resources on what’s new in Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4.0.
Jason Zander, General Manager, Visual Studio, Developer Division, wrote Announcing VS2010 / .NET Framework 4.0 Beta 1! Zander shows the specific features to look for when you go to try it out. And so you know, these are features that I didn’t all out in my previous posting. To summarize his post (note, his post has a couple dozen screenshots):
And so far, we’ve failed to mention my favorite feature Visual Studio 2010 Support For Multiple Monitors!
Another major set of features in VS2010 via Dotfuscator Software Services include:
• The injection of feature and session monitoring (streaming usage data to a developer-specified endpoint),
• The injection of application expiry dates, and
• The injection of tamper defense and notification.
