Visual Studio 2010 Available This Week

Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 Beta 2 will be available to MSDN subscribers on Monday, October 19, with general availability on October 21. The official launch of Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 is March 22, 2010.

New Packaging of Visual Studio + MSDN

To provide organizations with simplified ways to purchase and license core development technologies, Microsoft is announcing a new packaging lineup and licensing options for MSDN and Visual Studio 2010, including the “Ultimate Offer.” For more information on the new packaging, licensing, and pricing of Visual Studio 2010 and MSDN, see Visual Studio.

MSDN Offers Azure Compute, eLearning Benefits

Microsoft is unveiling a renovated MSDN, which includes new benefits for all MSDN subscribers. Benefits for MSDN subscribers include:

  • Azure compute hours
  • eLearning
