clip_image001Microsoft’s Scott Guthrie will give two Windows Azure sessions at the Silicon Valley Code Camp on Sunday, October 7, 2012.  SVCC is the largest code camp in the country, and will be held on the campus of Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, CA.  Scott and his team are in charge of the developer platform for Azure, so you won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn Azure development straight from the source.

Here’s a description of the two-part talk:

“Windows Azure, Microsoft’s flexible and open cloud platform, is built on one of the largest infrastructures in the world, and architected for huge scale and high reliability. The tooling accommodates the first timer as well as seasoned infrastructure veterans with ease, and supports both Windows and Linux deployments. Scott Guthrie, who is a Corporate VP of Microsoft’s Server & Tools business and whose team helps build Azure, will demonstrate how to get started with Windows Azure and walkthrough how to build and deploy web, mobile, and enterprise applications with it. This interactive and demo-heavy presentation will show you how to take advantage of Windows Azure and develop great solutions with it.”

Be sure to register on the Silicon Valley Code Camp site, and then click the “Will Attend” radio button underneath the description of each of Scott’s two talks:
