Paper on XML features of VB9

Something happened over the past week on my machine here at work and our test server -- we've encountered an error when using functions with more than 30 input parameters wich also contain a "collection" object.  The function call works fine, but trying to access or set values in the collection object fails.  Here's an example function call which reproduces the error:


   Private Sub LinkButton1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles LinkButton1.Click
       Dim param1 As New SqlParameter("@param1", Nothing)

       Dim testclass As New test1.Class1

       testclass.Test("", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "")

   End Sub


And, sample output from the immediate window:

error: cannot obtain value
param1.Value = 1
System Error &H80131313&


I know that this code has worked in the past; anyway, I apologize for the off-topic post but I thought you should know. Thanks for listening!

...I should add that this is happening in Visual Studio 2003, with dotnet framework version 1.4.
