Hey Matt

Being a miserable, cantankerous git, I'm not much for heaping praise and gushing "Thank yous", but I did want to say a sincere "Thanks" for posting this project.

I'm fortunate to be retired at the young age of 44, having spent much of my misbegotten youth coding in VB 1.0 (Yes, 1.0!) through VB.Net 2005, SQL Server and Access.

I do find life in the slow lane to be fun, but the winters are perhaps a bit too dull, so I picked up VB'08 and started writing simple games as giveaways to friends and other people too polite to reject them.

I was struggling a bit with my game of UNO, though as I couldn't figure out how to connect the game engine to the UI. Your project taught me that, plus a lot of other new features in vb2008 I didn't know about.

Thats one long method with alot of IF statements. I think its hard to read & understand that code so may I suggest you do some refactoring on that method to improve readability? It could be a nice blog post too :)
