What bugs were fixed in MFC in Visual Studio 2012?

Hello, I’m Pat Brenner, a developer on the Visual C++ Libraries team. I recently shared some information about the Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) Library in this blog post. Several people responded to that post asking for a list of bugs that have been fixed in MFC for Visual Studio 2012.

Though I cannot provide a complete list of the bugs in our internal bug database, here is a list of the bugs that were reported by customers through our Connect site that have been fixed in MFC for Visual Studio 2012 RTM. Click on any Connect bug number to see more information about that bug.

    Regaarding "584677 MFC projects targeted for Windows XP cause stack corruption." is that targeted to XP using the VS2012 tools (yeah!) or still the VS2010 tools (boo)?

    Nice work, but we need to have these Bug fixed in VS 2010, since we can't use VC2012 because of the broken Windows XP support!

    One additional comment that I should have added: this list represents just over half of the total number of bugs that were fixed in MFC for Visual Studio 2012, and most of them likely would have not been found by our internal testing.  So my thanks go out to those who are reporting bugs--you are truly helping to improve the quality of MFC.

    Yes, sp2 to VS 2010 is needed very much!  Will this point be considered by Microsoft?
