Hi everyone, I just received an email that a new KB had just been published on how to address the issue of time running too fast for Linux virtual machines under Virtual Server 2005 R2 - so if you are seeing this problem - go check it out.

  • Wow, that is incredibly informative for a Knowledge Base article.  In addition to the existence of a Knowledge Base article helping Linux users, this is amazing.  Let's hope for more turnarounds of this sort.  Too bad it's still outnumbered by recent cases where known bugs within Microsoft products have been blown off in accordance with standard operating practice.  But anyway let's hope for more like that.

Also interesting was that the inaccurate English word "complimentary" was translated according to what it should have been instead of what it was.  The Japanese text has a word that means "complementary", as in CMOS.
  • Brian - I have removed your comment.  I understand your sentiment - but I do not wish to have such statements on my blog.

This doubly arouses the curiosity of at least one other reader ^_^

Of course blogs aren't Usenet newsgroups.  Open discussion still needs Usenet newsgroups.  But still maybe you could let other readers have a hint about what this topic was, especially since you admitted to having an understanding for it?
