Hyper-V Program Manager
I have just been informed that we will have a number of webinars coming up in this month. If you're interested, you can check out the available sessions at: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/virtualserver/techinfo/events/default.mspx
There are sessions on Virtual Server and System Center Virtual Machine Manager.
I'm trying to find the feedback section on connect about the 2007 beta, but I can't seem to find it.
I'm trying to report that VPC2007 beta zeros the VMC file while the VPC is running so that if the app fails or you have a powerfailure or turn off the computer forcibly, or fail to come back from hibrination while it is running, the VMC file is destroyed and you have to recreate it from scratch.
The file is actually 0 bytes while the virtual machine is running, and that is definitely a bad thing. I have lost VMCs repeatedly as a result of hibrination failures.
I have installed Virtual PC 2007 on my Vista Ultimate machine and I have just updated the VM Additions on my Windows 2000 virtual machine and now I've lost the shared folder service.
When you log in to the Windows 2000 machine now it says VPCMap has caused an error and it closes. Every time I restart the shared folder service it just crashes each time. Is this a known bug?
