  • I have enabled Hyper V in Windows8 pro. I copied .vdi file in my machine. I came to know Hyper V does not support .vdi, so clone it .vhd format. I created virtual machine without hard or all possibility. Now when I am inspecting or browsing .vhd/.vhdx both giving me error. "An error occurred when attempting to retrieve the virtual Hard disk"

Failed to open attachment E:\vitual Hard Disk\win7os.vhdx or when it is .vhd file then win7os.vhd. error the file or directory is corrupted an unreadable.

I have used several process what I have gone through the Google but I could not resolved. But on Ubuntu i could able to load. but .vhd or .vhdx I am not able to rectify usilng all process what in google.

    Can Any body help me.
