Gold, but was a port of the original 1987 Commodore 64 version; it had CGA graphics and PC-speaker sound effects. It came on 5-1/4&quot; and 3-1/2&quot; floppy disks, and you didn't need any existing operating system or hard drive to run it; the system booted right into the game.</p> <p>I'm not sure if any of those booting games run on Virtual PC, but Pirates! is at least worth a try.</p> <div style="clear:both;"></div><img src="http://blogs.msdn.com/aggbug.aspx?PostID=1463341" width="1" height="1">
