Visual Studio Web Development Survey

A lot of Visual Studio customers use Visual Studio to do web development. We’d like to know more about your experiences using UI frameworks, so we’ve created an anonymous survey. It should take as little as 5 minutes to complete and we’ll use the information from it to inform changes in future versions of Visual Studio. When completing the survey you may also opt in to our survey sweepstakes* for a chance to win a $100 or $50 gift card.

Pass the survey on to other developers if you think they may want to contribute.

  • I keep visual studio up to date, and notice when using MSDN to search for recent information on windows 8.1 and windows phone 8.1 technologies that the information found does not work in the Visual Studio 2013 version when fully updated, along with key technologies missing makes for a very frustrating time to get done what you want.

I purchased visual studio 2012 just before 2013 was released and feel screwed over, with having to deal with these 2013 trail editions.

  • I'm getting ERR_SSL_SERVER_CERT_CHANGED when clicking the link for the survey.

  • @David, I have the same problem with my android 4.4.4 phone, may it's this bug?

  • Visual Studio for web development?

    #Not-Fit-For-Purpose

  • @David, I too ended up with this issue when using Chrome on Android. You can retry using the stock Android browser instead which works for me. As Marcel points out this appears to be an issue being investigated by the Chromium community.

  • Um, the link to the survey doesn't seem to be working.

  • ¿When are you guys gonna fix the bug where you CAN'T download docs if you are not logged in as an administrator?

  • @Greg Colborne

Greg -- if you'd like to provide additional feedback on what technologies are missing or what you're looking for on MSDN and the problems using that info with Visual Studio 2013 Update 2 (or later), please email me at paul.chapman at Microsoft.com.

    Thanks!
