This is an excellent improvement in the ability of customers to provide feedback. A few improvements I can suggest...

1) If you decide to capture further trace files to an existing item, it's entirely unclear that the tool is actually doing anything. Typically you'll see the 'fill in the details' form above showing that you have a 200MB etl file but the submission will complete immediately implying that either 1) the file has already been uploaded as part of the the finalization process, 2) the file will be uploaded in the background after you've closed the dialog (but maybe this will cancel the background upload?) or 3) something has gone wrong with the process and the submission has been ignored. The suspicion that the 'something has gone wrong' isn't helped by the fact that the design of the issue page on the connect site hides any attached files; it was only after several hours of waiting for my uploads to appear that it occurred to me to click the 'expand' button whereupon they all appeared !

2) It should be possible to add a comment when submitting further traces to an existing issue

3) There should be some indication on the issue site of 'what happens next'. Should I expect to get feedback from MS within a day? Week? Not at all ? I couldn't find a description of the flow anywhere, including the online help.

Do you know how I search a big visual studio project? Open up flash develop and use the global search panel. Never does it lock UI, and it has a progress bar.

I haven't found a way to do that yet.

Microsoft fail again. Cmon there are viable alternatives to your former little monopoly. Last good version was 6.0 which was a decade ago. I heard you still don't have 64-bit edit & continue but think smart is knowing why manhole covers are round. I work in finance we all run UNIX and I will enjoy shorting your stock at a time of my choosing :)

A very useful tool for reporting issues. Hopefully, it will increase the fix rate. :)
