Is there a way to "graduate" from Small basic to VB free of charge ? If so, post it on your SB website without the Visual Studio download. If not, then remove the "graduate" button from SB (supposedly for beginners and kids), and replace it with a "$$ for MS" button, so they are not tempted to hit it. The kids can avoid the downloads, installs, crashes and the marketing pitches, which only give you guys a bad name.

@Bram: I wanted to clarify my earlier post. The 'installer' is 1.1MB (obvious right?) but on my installation (US) the installer indicated it would ultimately use 1 MB. However if you download the install files separately (using the /layout parameter) then the install files themselves consume about 1GB.

For update 2 it would be nice to include an option to revert to a full VS2010 theme complete with the original icons, spacing, title bar and so on. While the theme editor is certainly helpful, the icons really just need to go. There are currently 12,529 votes over at uservoice related to this: visualstudio.uservoice.com/.../2623017-add-some-color-to-visual-studio-2012

Also there have been 5,166 downloads of this icon patcher: http://vsip.codeplex.com/

So it looks like people really want this. What do you think guys, can we do this for Update 2?

I can now say the intellisense across the board (C#, JavaScript, ASP.Net) is not as smooth as VS 2010. It has pauses, delays, quirkiness, and sometimes just doen't show. I really hope they focus on fit/finish before trying to stay trendy and add support for touch apps.

Nice update for those of us that develop windows store apps. There's nothing of great value for me in the role of developing enterprise applications. What will update 2 focus on? Can we perhaps get support for recording and playback of Macros?
