Release Management Update 2 is now live!

This update brings functionality to easily execute your components/actions to group of servers. It also introduces the ability to achieve continuous deployment from any CI system (including Visual Studio Online). See all the details here and here

Release Management is composed of three installers:

  • Release Management Server for Team Foundation Server 2013
  • Release Management Client for Visual Studio 2013
  • Microsoft Deployment Agent 2013

The fourth download available (Release Management for Visual Studio 2013) is an ISO file which contains the three installers together.

  • I can't wait until I can use this with Visual Studio Online.  Stuff like this makes me want to go back to running our own TFS server in house.

    Despite the name, you can use Release Management and connect to TFS 2012. All versions of RM support this feature.
