(Intentionally being vague, as I can't talk time frames :-)

There is an easy workaround.

From your team home page, click on the "gear" icon in the upper right. (The one next to your name). -- This will display the Admin screen for your team project.

Under the list of "teams" on the right, you will see most likley one team (Called "My Team" or "<Project Name> Team". Click on that. -- This will display the admin screen for the team.

Click on the security tab - This will display the members and permissions for your team.

Click on the "member of" tab in the right hand pane - This will display the groups your team is a member of.

It will most likely list a single group, called "Valid users"

Click "Join Group" - This will display a dialog.

Click the drop-down on the identities field, and select the "[My Project]\Contributors" group.

Click save changes.

DONE! - What you've done is made the group that holds the members of your team a member of the Contributors group, so that all team members now have the rights defined in the Contributors group. This will give them standard access to source and builds.

In a future build, this will be done automatically for you. Sorry for the inconvenience.
