We are now 2 weeks away from the developer event. It is held in Bellevue, WA on April 11-13. Go to www.longhornsdr.com to find out about the detailed agenda and to register for this one of a kind event.

Over the last weeks we have received email from quite a few people from other countries asking about a similar event in their region. Unfortunately this will be the only event. It will be held only once in April and the number of seats are limited to 400.

Why only one event and why only in the US? Main reason being that we want to give attendees the opportunity to hear directly from the product teams and give the chance to talk to members of the teams in person. As you can imagine, this does not scale. We cannot send the dev team members around the world. These folks have very little time for this kind of work. Therefore it is even more useful - if you have the time - to attend this real unique opportunity and gather news about Windows Server Code Name "Longhorn" for your product planning, development and architectural decisions before the stuff  is shipped. And from the list of attendees I can see that some of your competitors are attending :)

This event is not meant to be a one way thing. After each session speakers will be available for an ATE (Ask The Experts) in a separate room to give you the chance to talk directly to the presenter, ask question AND give feedback about what you've heard and learned!

Should you decide to attend the event in Washington I suggest registering soon. The seats are filling up quickly.
