Visual Studio 11 Developer Preview is now available to MSDN subscribers. It will be available to developers who aren't subscribers on Friday, September 16.

And with the release of the preview, of course, we’re releasing the prerelease documentation that we’ve been working so hard on.

Highlights in this preview release include tools that help you create Windows Store apps, the Async feature for Visual Basic and C#, C++ Accelerated Massive Parallelism, project and solution backward compatibility, Code Editor enhancements for JavaScript, and lots more.

For a quick overview of these features and other new features, here are two good places to start: Product Highlights for Visual Studio 11 Developer Preview and What's New in Visual Studio 11 Developer Preview.
