After we've talked about staffing your teams, now we need to address how you want to train them and make them ready.
The skills matrix will help the team and the team leaders to assess their capabilities and construct a development plan to be ready for delivering. The matrix is role oriented and can only be understood with the rating scale ascribed below.

Now, what is needed to be done is to have the people to be rated against the skills required. The table below is an example. This should be filled by the Technical Manager or the team leader who has a good technical knowledge to assess the team member. Use this to plan for your team readiness and create a training plan for them.
