after reading an article by Tim Anderson on ASP.NET MVC, i have the strong belief that it is recuing Microsoft's Web Platform.

Not sure whether you know this, but it doesn't seem to work when you install Visual Web Developer 2008 Express *in the same Web Platform Installer session* as ASP.NET MVC RC.

Yeah! Looks like this installer works on Windows 7. I cannot download product.xml b/c I am assuming the fact I am behind a firewall (not using IE proxy settings?). Will have to try it when I get home...
