Service Pack 1 for SharePoint 2010 Products is Now Available for Download
Service Pack 1 includes stability, performance, and security enhancements that are a direct result of your feedback.
It is strongly recommended to install the June 2011 Cumulative Update immediately after the installation of Service Pack 1. The June Cumulative Update includes several important security and bug fixes that are not included Service Pack 1.

hi and after june 2011 refresh update there is also August 2011 update, is june update included in the Aug 2011 update or do we have to download both and run both after SP1 upgrade?
SP 2010 -> SP 2010 SP1 -> June 2011 update -> run PSConfigUI -> Start the User Profile Synchronization service -> Aug 2011 update
Hi there, the concept of Cumulative updates is that they contain all previous updates provided since the product release or Service Pack. So the August 2011 CU does include the June 2011 CU also. So the steps are SP 2010 -> SP 2010 SP1 -> Aug 2011 CU -> run PSConfigUI -> Start the User Profile Synchronization.
