This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. See An index to all Rangers covered on this blog for more details.

Who you are?

I am currently a Practice Manager in the Enterprise Strategy and Architecture team in MCS.  I lead a team of highly skilled architects that engage on the most strategic and largest MCS engagements

What makes you “tick”?

I love be part of teams that build software.  On the personal side I spend most of my time with my kids, but if time allows I am a Ballroom dancer.

Where you live?

Nashville TN

Where is the place you call home?

Nashville TN

Why are you active in the Rangers program?

I have a passion for ALM.  I lead the development of the ALM Offerings for MCS and built the ALM Practice.  I got this passion for my first project that took way too long and cost too much.  After see an ALM process take the frustrating and aimless approach to a very targeted and efficient process based on ALM principals I was hooked and have spent most of my career in one form or another being an advocate.

What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?

My best ranger project is not a project at all, but more about growing the ranks of the members by bring in key core rangers like James Pickell or Mike Schimmel.  If you pin me down to a specific project it would be the ISA Guidance project.  That allowed me to directly contribute to the future design of 2010 as we uncovered small changes that would enable ISA publishing to work.
