Who you are?

My name is Zayd Kara I am Technical Support Specialist at Barone, Budge & Dominick (BB&D) a software development company in South Africa. I am also a Microsoft ALM MVP.

What makes you tick?

Problem solving and technology implementations. Learning new technologies and sharing my learning’s with the rest of my company. My main interest is Virtualization.

Where you live?

Home of Winston the pigeon (the pigeon that’s “faster than  broadband”) and the 2010 Fifa World Cup, sunny South Africa.

Why are you active In the Rangers program?

Gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience.

What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?

I was involved in the TFS Virtualisation Project and doing on going work on the VSTS Rangers Factory, but I think a highlight for me was when I volunteered to take the lead on the 2010 101 Guidance Planning project and together with a dedicated team from 3 different time zones managed to successfully deliver the project.
