Who you are?
Andre Dias, founder of the Lambda3 and Professional Scrum Developer Trainer by Scrum.Org
What makes you “tick”?
Deliver working software frequently with quality and high productivity. That is the reason why I love the Microsoft ALM Platform and Agile Methodologies. This joining is so much powerful and it allows me work in several departments with different people working in different roles. The result of this joining is new challenge every day, sometimes coaching a software developer, sometimes helping an executive to extract metrics of his project portfolio, but always helping the team to achieve their goals.
In a few words, what makes me proud is see a smile in a customer’s face and to have the certain that my job is being very well done.
Where you live?
Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Where is the place you call home?
Any place with my family, friends and a good rock and roll.
Why are you active in the Rangers program?
I believe the ALM Rangers Program is the best place to share ideas and to share experiences from the field. It is also a good way to keep in touch with ALM Experts around the world, but the main reason why I’m engaged in this program is because I have the opportunity to develop something to extend the product that will solve a pain of many customers.
What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?
Visual Studio 2010 Team Foundation Server Requirements Management Guidance, I decided take part of this project because RM is one of the biggest pain points of customers and I also haven’t had good experiences with RM during the beginning of my career and I wouldn't definitely like to see my customers under the same problem. So this project was perfect to write a guidance to deal with RM using a good approach and an amazing tool.
