TFS Integration Tools – Code Gallery, Codeplex … huh? What is the correct channel to watch?

In TFS Integration Platform …  after much dog fooding, the first fully supported product has been released post we announced the first fully supported version of the TFS Integration Tools on the Visual Studio Gallery. This begs the question as to why we have two different delivery channels, namely the Visual Studio Gallery and Codeplex.

if ( you are looking for the latest supported bits )
{
    Refer to Visual Studio Gallery
}
else
if ( you are looking for incremental updates and source drops
{
    Refer to Codeplex
}
else
{
   Engage with the TFS Integration tools    team on the MSDN forums at:
   http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/tfsintegration/threads.
}

  • Cool to finally see a supported version. What type of support can we expect?

  • The TFS Integration Tools and underlying TFS Integration Platform are fully supported. We recommend that you raise any recommendations, suggestions, questions or issues on the Team Foundation Server – Migration and Integration Forum (social.msdn.microsoft.com/.../tfsintegration), or Microsoft Support if needed.
