Who you are?
David Hay, a consultant at Microsoft. I starting writing code (Fortran) in 1974, and have been making a living developing software and IT solutions since 1983.
What makes you “tick”?
Helping people and making a difference. At work that can mean implementing great solutions that help others achieve their goals. Outside of work I like to spend time volunteering with organisations that help others, from helping at the local food kitchen, through to working with aid organisations in developing countries.
I also love camping with my family and I enjoy photography.
Where you live?
Canberra, Australia
Where do you call home?
Anywhere in Australia
Why are you active in the Rangers program?
For the opportunity to be a part of the community that uses the best development tools in the solar system.
What is the best Rangers project you worked on and why?
I have only just joined the Rangers so have not worked on a project yet.
