This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. See Ranger Index (Who is Who?) for more details.
Who you are?
I am an Application Development Manager in Premier. I am based on Oklahoma City and support customers throughout the state of Oklahoma. I grew up here and have been involved with professional software development for 19 years.
What makes you “tick”?
Professionally, I love to solve problems and to build things. I am a tool smith who loves to create tools through software. ALM is the ultimate ‘smithing’, in that it is itself a tool for other tool smiths to use in their work.
Where you live?
I live in Oklahoma City, OK.
Why are you active in the Rangers program?
I love how the Rangers are so close to the very latest in tooling and technology. I can think of no better way to stay ‘right on the edge’ and, in fact, to push the envelope even farther.
What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?
Project Unicorn is great because it gives me a chance to demonstrate how TFS and VSO can be used to manage the types of maintenance and incident tasks that so many development teams must handle every day, even if they aren’t part of a formal project.
