We are pleased to announce the release of TFS Upgrade Guide, v3 for practical guidance for an upgrade to TFS 2013.

This guide is intended as a supplement to the Upgrade information found in the Team Foundation Server Installation and Administration guides. It is recommended to begin with the Team Foundation Server Installation and Administration Guide (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29035) before using this guide. This guide covers scenarios which may be encountered during and after the upgrade process and provides examples of most common and potential issues.

what’s next?

The team will align efforts with the MSDN team, and continue to react to your candid feedback and emerging technology upgrades!

please send candid feedback!

For example:

  • Which features do you need in the next version?
  • What do you like and dislike in the current version?

We can’t wait to hear from you, and learn more about your experience using the add-in. Here are some ways to connect with us:

  • Add a comment below.
  • Ask a question on the respective CodePlex discussion forum.
  • Contact me on my blog.
  • Candid feedback you say? The number one problem I face regularly with many of the rangers materials is that they are static documents rather than websites. This means they're invisible to Google, and less useful on the various mobile devices. I can't link to a paragraph as a suggestion to do some small practice in the docs etc. I'd love to see these be web resources as well as the current document oriented resources.

  • P.s. love your work. Thanks heaps
