New Windows® phone unveiled – introducing the new HTC HD2

I have some exciting news to share – today with HTC and Telstra, we are launching the new HTC HD2 – a super hot new Windows® Phone!
Available exclusively on Telstra’s Next G™ network, the HTC HD2 offers an unprecedented Windows phone experience with a high-resolution, capacitive touch display – making viewing, zooming and resizing websites, Microsoft Office files, PDF documents and pictures even easier with just a pinch of your fingers.

What’s more, the HTC HD2 utilises Qualcomm’s new 1 GHz Snapdragon mobile processor, for enhanced performance that’s almost twice as powerful as any smartphone released last year!

And, with a wealth of applications now available at the new Windows® Marketplace for Mobile, plus cool new services such as Microsoft’s free My Phone service, Twitter and Facebook apps, a 5MP autofocus camera with dual LED light, up-to-date share information, localised animated weather experience and exclusive BigPond content and Mobile FOXTEL from Telstra, staying in touch, informed and entertained has never been easier, or clearer.

In short, the new HTC HD2 is an awesome smartphone which will help connect Australians to the people and information they care about, wherever they are.

  • This is quite exciting..

Looks like the HTC HD2 will be exclusive to Telstra in Australia until 31 March. It is available for $0 up front on an $80 plan over 24 months, or $829 outright. The phone is unlocked when purchased outright, so users are able to use any other Australian SIM with the smartphone.
