Windows 7 Upgrade Offer Update from the Customer Service Team
Hello from the Microsoft Customer Service Team Australia,
We have received a number of calls throughout the past couple of months enquiring about the Windows 7 Upgrade Offer (www.windows.com/upgradeoffer). It’s been great to see the amount of interest that the promotion has generated but time is rapidly running out for people to lodge their claims for a complimentary upgrade to Windows 7.
DONT MISS OUT – HERE ARE THE DETAILS
If you purchased a fully packaged boxed copy of Windows Vista from June 26th 2009, , you have until March 1st to submit your claim for the upgrade. Be Quick, Don’t Miss Out!
If you purchased a new PC with the Windows 7 Upgrade offer and haven’t submitted your claim, you need to check your manufacturer’s T&C’s from the Windows 7 Upgrade website for further information.
If you purchased a PC manufactured by a local system-builder and received a blue form with a redemption code, you will need to visit www.windows7upgradeoption.com to submit your claim for the Windows 7 Upgrade. .
WAITING FOR YOUR UPGRADE?
As this promotion is delivered across a number of different channels, the customer service team does not have an overview of all the orders processed under this offer.
If you submitted your order on the manufacturer of your PC’s website, you must confirm the delivery date or order status with your manufacturer. Most of the manufacturer order submission websites have an order status page where you can enter your order information to review the status or have contact details to request an update.
If you purchased Windows Vista as a fully packaged product and submitted directly via the Microsoft website, you can contact Microsoft via email at aporders@microsoft.com or toll free in Australia on 13 20 58 for an update on the status of your order.
If you have any other concerns or issues with the upgrade, feel free to contact the customer service team on 13 20 58 or leave a comment below.
Thanks,
Microsoft Customer Service Australia
