Win8 is clearly not good (so far) for .net developer or Web (JavaScript) developers alike. It took me 3 Days (and counting) to port my existing JavaScript based Twitter Web <a href="www.mirkon.com.tr/.../a> App as a Metro style app. Debugger doesn't work either.

Do they give away free Windows 8 the same way how it was for Windows 7 on 2009?

Attended the dev camp in Tyson's Corner, VA yesterday. It was excellent, highly recommended if you want to learn about building metro style apps.

A shame this was posted a such shot notice, the event has now past in my location. Also looking up today's event 30th it says the event does not exist.

They came up with a brilliant idea to start over, re build, but then each team came up with its own legacies , and finally what is cooking up doesn't seem to fit any of the perceived notion.

Similar story else where, Consumer preview is a joke, no Documentation is made anywhere, and even if it has been (thanks to multiple "MVP" blogs, it is conflicting with each other.

How Can we think of selling an app/product on the new platform, when We are not comfortably sold on Windows 8 / RT or whatsoever as a new platform !

I don't see a consistent strategy either. Please upgrade XNA or support some new framework to use DirectX from managed code including Metro mode.

have the experts get XNA for metro working if you want my apps. I gave windows phone a chance over android and invested in XNA. Now you want me to invest my resources in directX over another unproven platform? Do your highly paid senior folks from different groups sit together and talk ever? Do your PMs not see how this screws over the 100s of ppl who invested in xna? So much for a cross platform development framework..
