Windows Azure SQL Azure Marketplace
To get started, simply choose one of the following three offers:
A valid credit or debit card number and billing address will be required to sign up for these offers for billing information purposes and to avoid service disruption if you subsequently choose to use Windows Azure on an ongoing basis. You will be notified via your Windows Live ID email address when you reach 75% of your charge capacity.
*Offer includes a base level of compute hours, storage, data transfers, a SQL Azure database, Access Control transactions and Service Bus connections. You will be charged at our standard rates if you elect to use more than the amount included per month with the offer. This introductory special will end on July 31, 2010 and all usage will then be charged at the standard rates.
I just don't understand why Microsoft has done such a great job with this product only to limit its accessibility. The pricing model for entry is terribly short sighted.

I have spent several months learning and developing an application that uses SQL Azure and Windows Azure. Only to find that Australia is not allowed to buy the service!
How long before Australia can buy in because until then I am stuck.
Hi!
I am India and wanted to try Windows Azure. I wanted to use a debit card but it keeps giving me an error saying the information is worng. Is Azure avialbale only through credit cards and not debit cards?
I tried with several debit cards and all went wrong, but when I tried with a credit card, it recognized the info. I want to use my debit card, is it possible?
The introductory signup took all data fine and setup up my Azure account. However, the SQL part is still asking for a CTP invitation code? I find this somewhat annoying since if i am going to pay for the service, i'd like to evaluate it first.
Now i assume that if i upgrade my subscription, i'll have access to the SQL Azure db, but how can i be sure?
A rather fundamental flaw considering it's likely many customers would like to use the introductory account first and then upgrade.
Hi
windows Azure is commercially available ...
What version of Windows Azure is currently in the market ? Or is versioning applicable to Windows Azure ??
Please also clear me about that what MS Parten offering ? Specifically talking about the Private Cloud ..
Is MS partner/Hosters offers the same Windows Azure Platfrom in there own data centers? or they share or maintain MS datacenter for offering cloud service to the there end client.
Thanks
