Support does not help at all.

This issue is killing our app Craigslist+. We became #1 on the top free list under lifestyle in just one month after it was released. Not many apps can do that. Well, it has been 3 days since it got completely removed from the top free list for no reason. The number of downloads tanked to 1/7 as before. App like this should be considered on the promotion page because we outran all 3 currently promoted apps.

Thanks!

You can NOT run a global application store and take a week 'off'. Sure, you state you'll still be working and certifying apps, but with less capacity. That is simply not cool. I totally understand employees needing a holiday, but the sad fact is that the global economy doesn't allow for such. For instance, I sure can't take a week off.. wish I could.. and my responsibilities pale in comparison to yours. Part of having a successful global application store is making sure you are *always* operating at 100%, ready to certify apps and updates, shut down malware, and generally be 'there'. The success or failure of your store will most likely be a big part of the success or failure of Windows 8, thus you really need to hire some more people, pay your employees OVERTIME / HOLIDAY PAY so they are properly compensated for missing the holidays. I think you'll find that there is always someone willing to work if you pay them enough. Microsoft Corporation certainly has the cash, and now is NOT the time to be cheap.

This is not the time to slow down.
