Images in Ribbon Sample

  • Comments 4

We have received some feedback about the blurriness of the images in the Ribbon sample that was published alongside the Ribbon release. We would like to clarify that the sole purpose of this sample application is to showcase the API capabilities for the Ribbon Control Library. The images involved are purely incidental and were added to demonstrate the overall Ribbon layout. To futher this I would draw your attention to Web Matrix, a web development solution from Microsoft with a publicly available Beta. The UI for this app has been built using the Ribbon Control Library. Here are a few screen shots of this tool. This is more representative of real production apps that can be built using this library.

  • I looked at Web Matrix, installed it, but found only web app references, but no WPF references. Is there a WPF or Windows Matrix?   Thanks.

  • Hi,

how can i use the web matrix navigationbar on the left side?

Can anyone send me an example or an library?

    Many Greetings, Manuel

  • @ipp_austin: WebMatrix is a WPF application with a reference to RibbonControlLibrary.dll. If you launch the app and create a web site using one of their standard templates (Eg. Photo Gallery), you will see the Ribbon UI come up. Now attach a debugger to it, you should be able to see RibbonControlLibrary loaded in the list of modules.

@Manuel: I need to consult with the WebMatrix team to see if there are any platform pieces they offer for reuse. I will write back.

  • Hi VarshaMahadevan,

    thank you very much...

    Greetings, Manuel
