Using Visual Studio 2010 Server Explorer you can manage the Windows Azure Storage and Hosted Services. By default the development storage is added. If you want to add the live storage you can add them by selecting that node and right clicking
Then add the required information.
In Visual Studio 2011 you can pin the most used files.
Now in Visual Studio 2011 you can filter the error list based on the open document. So it will show you only those errors which are part of the currently focused file.
In Visual Studio 2011 you can search in the error list. Pretty cool.
In Visual Studio 2011 you can search within Toolbox and this is contains search (“%%”)
Visual Studio 2011 Quick Launch enables you to search within Menu, Toolbox, Open Document. It also has a feature of “Most Recently Used” option.
You can check the option to set where it will search and this can be extended.
I do not use anything but NuGet to associate EntityFramework dll to my project. Here are some of the version specific commands
PM> Install-Package EntityFramework–Pre
PM> Install-Package EntityFramework -Version 4.3.1
PM> Install-Package EntityFramework -Version 18.104.22.168
PM> Install-Package EntityFramework -Version 4.1.10715.0
Now in EF 5 designer you can color code the entity to differentiate the category. Data Access is now more colorful
EF5 edmx designer now will highlight the related properties and navigation properties once the association bar is selected. You know who all ganged.
Now in EF5 we can import all stored procedure to function at one shot. This is a great pleasure indeed. No more individual import one by one.
