My Visual Studio 2012 Menu looks like
If you want to do it run this poweshell
Set-ItemProperty -Path HKCU:\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0\General -Name SuppressUppercaseConversion -Type DWord -Value 1
Or change the registry
That’s it!!! Happy weekend.

Another way is to use extension from vs gallery: visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/a83505c6-77b3-44a6-b53b-73d77cba84c8
There even is an option to hide main menu completely!
Many thanks to provide this clever tip. I hope that the Visual Studio team will include ( in the settings ) a function doing it in an automatic way ( i don't like to modify the registry because i got problems after it and i had to reinstall my operating system ). I would prefer that the VS 11 Team puts the menu not in all capital as a default, but i am not sure that it will accept to recognize that its choice was an error
This needs to be an option in the settings which defaults to lowercase. Anyone that wants the ugly capitals can tick the box. Fixed!
Thanks ! Should be the default when installed. Still the new UI usability is terrible, will stay with 2010 for as long as possible.
