We have had some postings about dialog boxes in Expression Media having a dark gray appearance when upgrading to 10.5 (Leopard). The picture below shows an example of the problem with the Batch Rename dialog box. So far I have found Batch Rename and Set Author Details on the Action menu to be the only dialogs affected.
I have experienced this behavior with a clean install of OSX 10.5 and a clean install of Expression Media Service Pack 1.
I have found a workaround for this problem though. It appears it's picking up the dark gray color from the default background color set in the View Options on the Window menu. I have found that changing the default color from dark gray to a lighter color allows you to read the text in the dialog boxes experiencing this issue.
Although this works around the issue, it has to be done for all existing catalogs. The default for new catalogs can easily be changed with a lighter color within the View Options dialog by clicking the "Save as Default" button at the bottom of the dialog box.
That's all I have to say in the Expression Media world for now and if you've made it this far Thank You!. =)
