For those of you who are relatively new to XNA Game Studio Express or who like learning all you can about Spacewar, Charles Cox and I have put together an article for the May issue of MSDN Magazine that’s also available on their website.

My son and I are working through this article. It is a great high level overview and makes it very approachable. I have been wanting to try this outrageously fun freebie, and the article inspired me to go for it. My first task in the Spacewar starter kit was to give my daughter an edge by making her brother's ship twice as big, and hers half as big. Our ultimate goal is to create a home grown version of Mech Pong, hopefully in time for holiday gift giving. Wish us luck! We will continue to frequent your blog.
