This is a great feature for adding extra white space when you need it.  Try it out yourself.  Go to any line in the Editor and press CTRL + Enter to insert a line above or CTRL + SHIFT + Enter to insert a line below the current line.

  • I love this shortcut, but be careful about making it a habit. In Outlook, Ctrl-Enter means Send - more than once I've sent an email before its time when I simply meant to "insert a blank line above".

  • Yes I have been bitten by the Ctrl+Enter outlook thing too, so I know send all my mail to my Drafts folder before sending just in case.

  • Use CTRL + Enter, it will be easier to write the comments

  • Is there a way to disable (or redefine) the Ctrl+Enter in Outlook?

Then you will not have to worry about sending an email by accident.

  • Yep I happened upon this link that seems to cover most versions of Outlook:
