So maybe IntelliSense isn't for everyone.  It can sometimes annoy people when it automatically pops up.  You can disable automatic IntelliSense and still have it come up anytime you want with CTRL + J.

  • I have tried to enable the IntelliSense for T-SQL but it does not shows any intelliSense when I am writing SQL Queries.

I have tried the way described above way but I am still have problem.

Please Suggest Suitable Solution for Enabling the IntelliSense in T-SQL.

    Thanks in Advance

  • Ganesh,

When it comes to TSQL IntelliSense there are some limitations.  Here is a link to what is supported and what you can expect as well as troubleshooting steps: msdn.microsoft.com/.../ee362019.aspx

  • @OP: Gr8 post. Thanks, it worked for me.

  • Thanks for the tip. I turned off "Auto list members" for "Text Editor"\JavaScript in VS 2012. It was causing me more harm than good. It tends to pick up every var ever used in your file and suggest it as a class member. If I ever want a handy dropdown list of all my vars in a js file, I'll use the CTRL+J.

  • Does not work in VS 2012, it always lists members even if those options are disabled. Annoying the hell out of me.
