Change the Default View in the HTML Editor

Menu:  Tools -> Options -> HTML Designer -> General

The default view when you use the HTML Designer is Source View:

If you don't like this or just want another view to be the default you can go to Tools -> Options -> HTML Designer -> General  and choose a new view in the "Start pages in" area:

    I couldn't find it, Text Editor.  In VS2010, HTML Designer isn't under Text Editor and is a root option on the same level as Text Editor.

    It still says "Tools -> Options -> Text Editor -> HTML Designer -> General" in the article instead of "Tools -> Options -> HTML Designer -> General". :)
