When working with your various window layouts you sometimes will get to the point where you just want to start over:

You can reset your window layout to their default settings by going to Window | Reset Window Layout on the Menu Bar.  This will show the following dialog when you choose it:

Clicking “Yes” will reset all the windows to their default configuration so you can start clean.  If you are curious, the documentation (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/z4y0hsax(VS.80).aspx) says the following will happen:

  • All windows are moved to their default positions.

  • Windows that are closed in the default window layout are closed by the command.

  • Windows that are open in the default window layout are opened by the command.
